EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALS

My name is Ben Wesemann, and I'm the owner & General Contractor of Arrow Works L.L.C. I moved to Boone from St Louis, MO in 2005 to attend Appalachian State Univeristy, where I received a double BFA in Studio Art: Painting & Sculpture.  Spending years building in wood and metal studios is where I learned how to transform raw material into something beautiful.  I went on to manage and curate the Smith Gallery at AppState for seven years where I honed my eye for design, learned project management, transforming spaces and brought vision into reality.

In 2013 I bought my first house, it was a foreclosure in disrepair - but I saw potential. Over the course of two years, I learned building through the DIY process and renovated the two floors of living space upstairs into a beautiful home, and built out a custom studio apartment in the unfinished basement. What was neglected is now a thriving duplex, and I was hooked. 

Since then, I have worked on many homes here in the High Country - specializing in kitchens, bathrooms, basement build-outs, as well as crafting over a dozen unique AirBnb spaces, three of my own.  One of my favorite parts of home renovation is envisioning the potential that many struggle to see, and bringing spaces to life again.  We are now excited to be offering custom home builds too!
